Privacy Policy — InnerCalm Wellness Recovery
Privacy Policy Effective date: 08/13/2026 · Last updated: 08/13/2026
InnerCalm Wellness Recovery (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates innercalmrecovery.co. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only — not to the care you receive as a patient.
This website is not for medical emergencies. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. For substance use support and treatment referrals, you can also call the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357, free and confidential, 24/7.
What this website is — and isn’t
This is our marketing and information website. It is not a patient portal, and we ask that you do not submit detailed medical information through this site. Your records as a patient are maintained separately in our clinical systems and are protected under HIPAA — and, for substance use disorder treatment records, additional federal confidentiality rules (42 C.F.R. Part 2). You receive our Notice of Privacy Practices when you become a patient. [LINK NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES ]
Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact and appointment-request forms: name, phone number, email address, insurance carrier, and anything you choose to write in a message field.
- Website chat (if present on this site): if you use a chat widget, we ask for your name and email so we can respond. Chat conversations are stored so our team can follow up. Any automated assistant is clearly labeled; its answers are informational only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or a provider relationship.
- Email sign-up: your email address, if you opt in to hear from us.
- Phone calls: if you call a number listed on this site or in our materials, the call may be measured for marketing purposes (see below).
Information collected automatically:
- Device and usage data via cookies and similar technologies: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, and general location (city level). We use this to understand how the site is used and to measure our marketing.
How we use information
We use the information above to respond to your inquiries, schedule appointments, send communications you’ve opted into, operate and improve the website, and measure our marketing. We do not sell your personal information.
Analytics and advertising tools
We use third-party tools that set cookies or receive limited usage data:
- Google Analytics — site usage measurement.
- Google Ads — if and when we advertise, measures whether ads lead to calls or form submissions.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel — measures whether our posts and ads lead to site visits.
- Mailchimp — sends emails to people who opted in; measures opens and clicks.
- Freshworks (Freshdesk) — powers website chat, where present.
These vendors process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We configure them to minimize the data shared and we do not intentionally send them health information. You can limit cookie-based tracking through your browser settings, the Google Ads settings page, and Meta ad preferences.
Sharing
We share personal information only with: service providers that operate the website and tools above (under contracts limiting their use of it); our staff, to respond to you; and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent contact lists.
Your choices
- Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Cookies: control via browser settings
- Access / deletion: residents of certain states (including New Jersey, and New York under applicable laws) may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information collected through this site. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
This website is intended for adults and for family members seeking information about care for loved ones. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information submitted through this site. No website transmission is ever fully secure, which is one more reason not to submit detailed medical information here.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
