What to Expect in Your First Group
Group therapy can feel intimidating, but our facilitators create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment. In your first session, you'll be introduced to the group guidelines (confidentiality, respect, no cross-talk), share as much or as little as you're comfortable with, and begin to connect with peers who understand your experience.
Group sizes: 8–12 participants. Duration: 3 hours per session. Frequency: 3–5 sessions per week in IOP.
